REGISTRATION, AGE CRITERIA & ADMISSION

To admit a child in the school, application for registration on prescribed form should reach the principal along with a non-refundable Registration fee. The Prospectus cum Registration form can be obtained on payment from the school office. Registration is not a guarantee for admission. Entrance Tests are held and admission are offered on the basis of merit against the vacancies.

The child is tested for English, Hindi and Mathematics. The School Administration can test the child in other core subjects also. However there is no entrance test but only a meeting along with parents for admission for Pre-Primary stage(Nursery to UKG).

• Admission are done on the basis of seats available in a particular class and the child must have passed the previous class from a recognized school affiliated to any State Board of School Education/CBSE.

• For admission to Pre-School, a child should be at least 3 years old at the beginning of the session(1st April), as per the guidelines of CBSE.

The age limit (as on 1st April) for different classes is as under:

Nursery 3+

L.K.G. 4+

U.K.G. 5+ and so on respectively for nest classes

The application form can be obtained from the school office. Please ensure you have all the under mentioned documents. The following documents should compulsorily to be attached with the registration form.

1. Birth Certificate obtained from the school last attended.

2. School Leaving Certificate obtained from the school last attended.

3. Copy of Report Card/Marl Sheet of the previous class.

4. Three Photographs of the applicant and one photograpg each of mother & father/gurdian.

School Fees & Payment Schedule

The school fee and its details are given on separate sheet with the prospectus. The fee is payable in three installments. However admission fee will be collected at the time of admission from new students with first installment fee.

Our institution has opted for digital mode of transaction with a view to reduce cash transaction. You can deposit the fee of your ward through Demand Draft/Cheque/Direct Bank Transfer through RTGS/In favour of-SMT. JANKI DEVI MANDELIA SCHOOL, PILANI

We have divided a calendar year (session) into three installment periods of equal duration and referred to each installment period as a term in the following.

1st term April to July – (Fee collection period 1st- 15th April)

2nd term Aug to Nov –( Fee collection period 1st- 15th August)

3rd term Dec to March –( Fee collection period 1st-15th December)

01.A student shall clear the fee for a particular term within that term, failing which his or her enrolment shall be temporarily suspended.

02.Failure to pay fee for three consecutive terms will result in the student’s name being struck off the school rolls and the student will have to seek readmission in the same class.

03.Late payment of fee for a particular term paid within that term will attract fines as follows.

i)A fine of Rs 100/-will be charged if not paid within 7 days.

ii)A fine of Rs 1000/- if fees are paid after the first seven days following the due date but within that term.

04.If a student fails to clear the fee of a particular term within that term he or she may be permitted to clear them in the next term and get his or her suspension revoked by paying a fine of Rs 2000/- . If he or she fails to clear the fee of two consecutive terms within those two terms then he or she can clear them in the subsequent term and get his or her suspension revoked by paying a fine of Rs 4000/-.

05.For new admissions:-

I.Deposition of Ist Installment fee is compulsory at the time of admission.

II.Full tuition fee is must for late admission.

SCHOLARSHIP:-

School provides scholarship to students who excel themselves in academics & sports. A cash prize is given to the students in the annual prize distribution ceremony.

SOME IMPORTANT SUGGESTIONS TO THE PARENTS

The co-operation of the parents in all the spheres of school life is solicited in the interest of their wards. You can co-operate by paying personal attention to the following points.

01. Kindly provide your ward with all prescribed textbooks, exercise books and other required stationery in time.

02. Kindly supervise daily that your ward brings only the required text books and note books to the school as per the day's time table.

03. See that your ward comes to the school diary, the class work, notebooks and workbooks will help you to give your ward an effective guidance.

04. Regular inspection of the school diary, the class work, notebooks and workbooks will help you to give your ward an effective guidance.

05. Encourage your ward to participate in various co-curricular activities of the school.

06. Be in touch with the teachers/principal to know your ward progress.

07. Give response in time to various circulars, notices and letters sent and kindly attend the Parent-Teacher meetings whenever you are requested.

08. Intimate the change in address, phone etc., if any.
